About
This introduction to Nordic skiing includes fun activities and games to engage the youngsters, rewards them for getting out on their skis, and helps foster a love of the outdoor environment. Beginners are welcome and children are grouped by age and ability to maximize learning and fun.
Groups are led by expert staff assisted by parent volunteers. Skills are developed through games, adventure, and trail exploration.
PROGRAM
AGES: U6 (Born 2019, 2018), U8 (Born 2017, 2016), U10 (Born 2015, 2014)
Birth year 2019 at later. Minimum age of 4 years old by December 31, 2023
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner
SCHEDULE
Most Saturdays, 12/2/23- 3/23/24 10 AM-12:00 PM
Most Wednesdays 12/6/23- 3/20/24 4:00-5:15 PM
Stride Only (U6, U8, U10)
New to program/returning beginner
COST: $325
Birth years 2019-2014
Learn To Skate U8/U10
1-day – Saturday or Wednesday
2-day – Wednesday and Saturday
COST: 1 day $325, 2 day $500
Birth years 2014, 2015, and 2016
We will accept experienced 2017, but we suggest kids wait until they are 7 to learn to skate
RENTAL EQUIPMENT (optional)
$50 (LEARN TO SKATE $175)
ALL PRICING INCREASES BY $100 ON OCTOBER 1ST. REGISTRATION PRICE INCREASES BY $300 ON NOVEMBER 1ST.
Parents are required to volunteer for a minimum of 4 sessions during the season.
