The training arena can accommodate up to three–four ski teams per training session. This is in order to optimize the amount of attention received by each athlete. Two to four highly experienced coaches will be present at each session.
Each session will be a progression, building up on the previous session. Each session will have a theme, either GS or SL, with two racecourses set next to each other in order to accommodate the differences in the ability of the athletes (see previous section). If all athletes are approximately of the same level, the two racecourses will be identical, the intent being to minimize wait time at the starting gate.
ASC is offering an opportunity for Varsity Athletes and Parents to be volunteer coach our Development Teams on Saturdays and Sundays. Volunteer days could offset the ASC tuition fees.
The Varsity Program is only available to athletes that sign up through their school team. ASC coaches work alongside and assist varsity coaches. Our ASC coaches provide high level coaching while setting up and maintaining training courses. In addition to gate training, ASC offers directed freeskiing and fundamental drills for each athlete. The high school coaches work with ASC staff to schedule a set number of training days for your team each season. Varsity teams train in the ASC race arena at Boreal Mountain Resort. Coaching and support are included for CNISSF division races and CNISSF State and Regional Championships. Athletes can purchase discounted IKON, Woodward, and Boreal season passes.

Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THE TRAINING PACKAGE?
Your high school coach will work with ASC’s staff to determine a set number of training days for your team each season, usually between 7 – 10 days. These days, ASC secures training space in Boreal’s race arena, sets up and maintains training courses, and provides high-level coaching and feedback for athletes after each run. We also provide coaching at races and State Championships.
I’M HAVING TROUBLE PURCHASING THE BOREAL PASS.
If you are experiencing technical difficulties while buying a Boreal pass, please review our Purchasing Instructions document before contacting support.
HOW DO I PICK UP MY BOREAL PASS?
After you purchase your pass, you will receive a confirmation email from Boreal with instructions. Once purchased, bring this confirmation email to one of the kiosks at the mountain and follow the directions there to get your pass. If you do not receive the confirmation email (check your spam folder!), please reach out to Boreal directly.
CAN I BUY A DISCOUNTED SEASON PASS FOR A PARENT OR SIBLING?
ONLY registered ASC athletes can purchase a pass with the link. Our apologies that we cannot offer this savings to family members, friends, etc.
Unauthorized passes bought will be shut off.
WHAT IS MY TEAM’S TRAINING SCHEDULE?
Please reach out to your high school coach for questions about schedules and team specifics.
CAN PARENTS WATCH TRAINING?
Due to athlete safety requirements, only approved ASC and school coaches may be inside the race arena during training. If a parent is a Boreal pass or ticket holder, they may watch from outside the rope lines.
DO I NEED TO REGISTER AGAIN IF I’M ALREADY PART OF A REGULAR ASC TEAM?

DO YOU OFFER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE?
