Follow The Alpine Program

Our Development teams are broken into three parts:

Buddy Werner / Truckee Parks N’ Rec
Devo-1
Devo-2

These programs are organized to teach fundamental skiing skills and to introduce competitive ski racing to young athletes. Emphasis is placed on the technical fundamentals of skiing that apply to all types of alpine skiing. This is accomplished through free skiing throughout the resort on Saturdays and Sundays. We focus on fundamental skills including balance, edging, and body position.

SKILL LEVEL	Beginner
SKILLS	Must be able to load the chairlift without assistance, and put on their own equipment.
EQUIPMENT
OPTIONAL ADD-ON	Jacket order in registration process
NOTES	Weather pending, no make-up days unless otherwise noted. Boreal Pass (required) with exclusive ASC discount link found in registration link Parents are encourage to volunteer. More information in the Parent Manual that will arrive in a Welcome email from Program Director, Chris Lindsay.
