Varsity Ski & Snowboard

Everything parents need to register, pay, and get their high-school athlete on snow with ASC and Boreal — for the 2026/27 season.

Three groups, one season

Your athlete sits at the overlap of a high school team, ASC coaching, and Boreal's mountain. Pay the ASC training fee, then buy a Boreal season pass. Together, those two are what get your athlete into the race arena.

Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE TRAINING PACKAGE?

Your high school coach will work with ASC's staff to determine a set number of training days for your team each season, usually between 5 - 10 days. These days, ASC secures training space in Boreal's race arena, sets up and maintains training courses, and provides high-level coaching and feedback for athletes after each run. We also provide coaching at races and State Championships.

WHAT IS MY TEAM'S TRAINING SCHEDULE?

Please reach out to your high school coach for questions about schedules and team specifics.

CAN PARENTS WATCH TRAINING?

Due to athlete safety requirements, only approved ASC and school coaches may be inside the race arena during training. If a parent is a Boreal pass or ticket holder, they may watch from outside the rope lines.

I'M HAVING TROUBLE PURCHASING THE BOREAL PASS

If you are experiencing technical difficulties while buying a Boreal pass, contact Inger Norman inger@asctrainingcenter.org.

HOW DO I PICK UP MY BOREAL PASS?

After you purchase your pass, you will receive a confirmation email from Boreal with instructions. Once purchased online, bring the confirmation email to one of the kiosks at Boreal Mountain and follow the directions there to get your pass. If you do not receive the confirmation email, check your spam folder! If you have issues, please reach out to Boreal directly.

CAN I BUY A Boreal DISCOUNTED SEASON PASS FOR A PARENT OR SIBLING?

Yes, but ONLY registered ASC athletes, parents and siblings are eligible for a discounted Boreal pass. This list is heavily audited and anyone not eligible will have their season pass turned off with no  reimbursement.

DO I NEED TO REGISTER AGAIN IF I'M ALREADY PART OF A REGULAR ASC TEAM?

Nope! Please communicate with your coach for next step.

DO YOU OFFER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE?

ASC’s goal is to provide young people from all financial backgrounds with the opportunity to ski and snowboard. We have payment plans (all balances due by Dec. 31)  and need-based scholarships. Ask coach for more information.
