Campsite is located in Orick, CA. We set up tents in the rodeo fairgrounds right off of Highway 101. Fog/dew rolls in from the coast overnight, and most days it burns off around 11am. Make sure to hang your clothes out between training sessions, and expect your tent to need a rain fly. There is running water and a small bathroom with showers.
Most days we set out for a rollerski through the redwoods in the morning, come back for lunch, then head to the beach for a few hours. Afternoon workouts range from soccer and strength on the beach, to runs through the famous "fern canyon". The week is capped off with a classic rollerski time trial up the "Lady Bird Johnson Road" and an overdistance run through the redwoods. It is about an 8hr drive to get there from Tahoe.
