Join us for our night nordic skiing! Open until 7:30pm Wednesdays & Fridays (Holiday schedule TBD)
ASC Nordic Center ski trails are open to the general public. Season passes are required. Our 25km trail system is groomed nightly to competition standards providing an always-perfect snow surface. Our wide, overlapping loops for all abilities keeps skiers no more than 5km from the lodge with lots of terrain options. ASCTC is a unique athletic and family-friendly experience blending recreational skiers with national ranked athletes. At 7,200 feet elevation, with legendary snowfall, our season is the longest in the Sierra.
IMPORTANT MUST READ NOTICE: Due to Covid-19 there are substantial changes to our operations. We can’t stress enough the importance of checking our “KNOW BEFORE YOU GO” Covid-19 page and the XC trail calendar on this page.
NOTE: Weather can sometimes close the Training Center or delay its opening. Always check the trail report before you come up to ski.
Go to the regularly-updated Covid-19 page.
Check this page for trail and grooming reports and the operational calendar. Normally, XC trails operate Wednesday - Sunday, 8:30am to 4:30pm. Trails are closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Yes, snowshoes are welcome. To maintain the snow surface for training athletes, we ask that you stay on the side of the groomed surface.
No. While we love our furry friends, dogs and fast training athletes don't mix well. No pets are allowed on the property.
Trails are not open on race days this season due to Covid-19 capacity limits. However, consider volunteering on race days. Not only does volunteering give back to the sport, it also ensures you are first out to ski when the racers finish.
No. The Training Center will not offer any waxing facilities this season.
No. However, our neighbors at Boreal have a great tubing hill. No outside sleds are permitted anywhere on the Boreal or Training Center property.
